Interesting thing about Scary Maze, the owner basically forgot about copyrighting his product. There is no way to even confirm if the actual game developer is Jeremy Winterrowd. We did research on Scary Maze Game origination and the only author responded on Yahoo answers was Jeremy Winterrow. It seems Jeremy just wanted to prank his friends on Halloween back in October 2004 and about 5 month later he realized the joke has spread on the web like an aids. After visiting the official Winterrowd website and Facebook page we were able to find Jeremy’s photo (on Pinterest page) but we couldn’t confirm if this photo really does belong to him, so this is all the information we were able to get about Scary Maze Game Author.

What is Scary Maze Game

Essentially, scary maze is a flash maze game (simple and primitive). According to game instructions, player must go through the maze (bring a small object using computer mouse) to the exit point to clear the level. The only obstacle in the game is the walls, this means if the player touches any of the walls the game will reset. The very first maze (level) is simple: maze walls are wide and even a complete newbie could complete the level without any special efforts. The level two on the other hand is kind of hard, maze walls narrow as you advance and it takes some concentration and focus to go through the maze. After level 2-3 failing is unacceptable but the player doesn’t know that, once he / she hits the wall, shocking image of (Linda Blair for the movie Exorcist) pops up screaming her lungs out.
