Free Tomtom Voices Star Wars

• TomTom, maker of some fine GPS devices, is getting in on the action by lettings users download voices of 'Star Wars' characters for their navigation systems for $13, starting with Darth Vader.
• Launched today, which by mighty coincidence is unofficially Star Wars day (May the fourth be with you, and all that) TomTom has revealed that the voice will be available from its store for £7.95.

You can now get Star Wars character voices for your TomTom. Check out this video of Darth Vader in the recording studio as he records directions for the TomTom.

I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan and I’m especially not a fan of Darth Vader. However, I love amazing advertising and marketing buzz.

And to think, I didn’t even know it was Star Wars Day. Didn't even know there was such a thing.
