Your LG cell phone likely has Bluetooth (most LG phones do, including older flip-phones)
I have a LG flip cell phone. I am trying to upload some pictures from my LG cell phone to my Toshiba computer. Nothing comes up on the computer saying it was uploaded. What do I do to uploaded the. Note: If your photos and videos are saved in Dropbox or SkyDrive, they will be automatically synced between your phone and your PC. Attach the USB cable to the phone and to a free USB port on your PC.
NOTE: I don't have OS X 10.5 installed, nor do I have an Android LG phone, so these instructions are based on OS X 10.8, and an LG-840g semi-smartphone with touchscreen, and an LG-420g (flip phone)
OS X 10.5 has similar menus and selections to accomplish the same functions, but the wording might be slightly different. Various non-Android LG phones have similar menu structures.
1. Turn Bluetooth ON and set Discoverable ON in your MacBook System Preferences:
, System Preferences, Internet & Wireless, Bluetooth.
Checkmark the 'Show Bluetooth icon in Menu Bar' option to make it easier to turn Bluetooth on and off in the future by clicking on the Bluetooth icon in the top menu bar instead of needing to return to System Preferences each time.
2. Turn on Bluetooth in your LG phone Bluetooth menu, or Settings, Connection, Bluetooth menu.
A Bluetooth icon should appear on your phone screen.
Your LG phone Visibility (same as Discoverability) is likely set to Hidden.
Change it to Visible, Discoverable, or Visible for 3 Minutes. (Any setting except Hidden.)
3. Now you need to Pair the MacBook with the LG phone so they can send and receive data (pictures, ringtones, contacts, and so on) in the future without needing to be re-paired each time.
On your MacBook , System Preferences, Bluetooth Preferences, select Set up Bluetooth Device
The computer should begin searching for, and within a minute or so, locate your LG phone and display a device name for it, such as LG-420g, based upon the manufacturer and the model number of the phone. If you have more than one of the same phones with Bluetooth, you can change the suggested name to be more descriptive, like 'Bob's LG phone', but that step is not necessary.
If the MacBook does not locate the LG phone within 3 minutes, check to see if Visibility has returned to Hidden. Also try moving the phone several feet closer or farther away from the MacBook screen, and change the orientation to the MacBook.

The default location for saved photos transferred from my LG phones by Bluetooth is the Documents folder.
5. To preserve phone and MacBook battery life, turn OFF Bluetooth on both MacBook and LG Phone when you've transferred all the files.
